  1. Food delicacies posts have drastically reduced (at least on FB). Even in Diwali pics, ‘Diya in hand’ is the top-ranking prop, followed by ‘ baby on lap’ of course.
  2. Otherwise everyone was a ‘Master Chef’ during the first 6 months of the lockdown.
  3. Babies are procreated in large quantities during the lockdown. But when it comes to survival indulgence…. it is FOOD and not the ‘bedroom deed’ that continues to be the masses favorite.
  4. Fanatics and fools live all around the world. Doesn’t matter if a country is developed or developing. It is all about the mindset.
  5. Winter is coming. Summer couldn’t kill the virus. The virus thrives better in cold. All hopes shifted to next summer.
  6. Vaccines seem mysterious. Those attempting to make the vaccine probably know the truth. The rest of us are hopeful to develop immunity.
  7. Myth buster: Vaccine is not the solution. It is only a tool that will complement other prevention tactics.
  8. ‘Covid Lockdown’ and ‘going out’ don’t go together. However, ‘reunion during lockdown in restaurants’ seems less compromising somehow.
  9. Parents have lost the right to say ‘no or less screen time’ to kids.
  10. It took one WhiteHat Jr to re-think about parenting our Chintus.
  11. Some Indian state governments have lost the plot. They just keep proving it again and again.
  12. Trivia : It all started with swing states. Now, it is one big Swing country.
  13. India focussed on producing its own goods and services, all thanks to the the neighboring nation.
  14. Indian Army again exemplified three things:
    i. Actions speak louder than anything else
ii. It is one of the strongest reason for India to become a superpower
iii. On one hand, India is the land of Gandhiji and we believe in peaceful solutions. But we should never forget that it is also the land of great warriors who know how to protect its pride and its people. Historically, we have had many such brave patriots such as Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, Prithviraj Chauhan, Jhansi ki Rani.
  15. Unfortunately, nothing concrete so far in SSR and other mysterious murder cases. One wonders if justice can prevail over-mighty power. Will we move on with time and not expect justice anymore?
  16. Revolution outside the Bollywood is to clean Bollywood. But the latter is not interested. Is making craftsmen less dependent on drugs and more dependent on their able minds and body too much to ask for? There is certainly much more beyond what meets the eye.
  17. Nepotism. No, it doesn’t exist everywhere. Certainly, not in the same proportion. It is most rampant in an industry that has power, money, and fame, and requires no entrance exams!
  18. Coming to Indian Media. It does play a role to gain momentum to probe on matters. But it requires decorum.
  19. Public debates have largely become a battleground for left extremists and right extremists. There is ‘no room for discussion’. You either agree with them or get ready to be vilified by them.
  20. The majority of us, the centrist, consider complexities. However, we are more of spectator sorts as to avoid unnecessary dialogue. This is considered a weakness and exploited.
  21. Killing of ‘Raavan’ or ‘Darkness’ within us is not a one day process. It is a consistent and conscious every day effort. The festive Indian month reminded us to focus on the later.
  22. IPL — Would Rohit Sharma win if he had Kohli’s team? We secretly wished for an underdog team to win! After all, IPL is beyond cricket, it is about the drama around it and about it.
  23. We live in the year of ‘marketing warfare’. Not limited to product or service advertising but personal and professional advertising. It trumps upgraded skills, talent, and hard work until and unless they are marketed as well!
  24. I know of only one family who have not met anyone else in person.
  25. If someone still thinks that bat-man can destroy the bat-virus….that person is beyond therapy. Peace.
